Give your child the competence, confidence, and skills of aquatic safety.
Our goal is not only to teach children to swim, but to help them develop an appreciation for the water with Infant Swimming Resource’s Self-Rescue® program. Our swim school has a variety of programs beyond ISR’s Self Rescue program to meet your child’s needs.
Through a bright and positive learning environment, children are encouraged to progress at an individual pace. Our Nationally Certified ISR Instructor, Sheryl Rothe, is caring and patient. We endeavor to meet the needs of all students while promoting overall confidence and self-esteem.
“As a parent of four children who are competitive swimmers, Sheryl believes in the importance of teaching children at a young age about water safety, and creating skilled and capable swimmers.”
As a Nationally Certified ISR Instructor, Sheryl Rothe, has been teaching ISR lessons for 17 years and has several clients who are state championship swimmers. She focuses on teaching babies to be safe in the water, having the right body posture for all swimming strokes, and preparing the child to have all the necessary skills to be an effective member on a swim team.
She provides lessons at an indoor year-round facility as well as other outdoor facilities. Each child is taught in a one on one setting, where children can learn while enjoying the experience at the same time. She offers individual lesson plans tailored to meet each child’s needs no matter the child’s swim level.
We provide Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) lessons by a Nationally Certified ISR Instructor to babies and toddlers between 6 months and 6 years old. After completing the ISR program, children will learn how to safely have fun in the water through maintenance lessons (jumping in, diving, etc).
Additionally, ISR provides the proper foundation required in becoming a competitive swimmer. Our swim school also offers Swim Team Prep Lessons for children who desire to pursue the sport of swimming.
The ISR method has become recognized by many coaches for providing the proper body posture to create the beginning of the proper stroke technique.
In the U.S., drowning is the leading cause of death for infants and young children under the age of four. Drowning is preventable.
Give your child an extra measure of protection with aquatic survival instruction from Infant Swimming Resource (ISR).
When it comes to water-safety and skills, ISR is the safest provider of swimming lessons for babies and toddlers between 6 months and 6 years old. ISR is nationally recognized for going beyond traditional swim instruction, teaching children the behaviorally based Self-Rescue™ techniques, such that they would be able to survive in the water in an emergency.
ISR was developed over 50 years ago and is the only drowning prevention strategy that has earned a 100% safety record. Since 1966, ISR has trained more than 8,000,000 children. To date, ISR has over 800 documented cases of children using ISR techniques to save themselves from drowning.
The Priority is SAFE INSTRUCTION
Founded in 1966 by Dr. Harvey Barnett, ISR is now the global leader in the industry it pioneered: survival swimming lessons for infants and young children. Our team of nearly 450 highly trained ISR Instructors provides the safest and most effective survival swimming lessons available. The ISR Self-Rescue® instruction our students receive today is the product of over 50 years of research and achieves unparalleled results.
